The working day is from 08:15am to 06:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
The actual working hours with children will be from 08:30am to 04:30pm.
You will be in charge of a group of 10/20 Italian or Spanish children and you will work in a team of other Tutors and an Italian Coordinator… In English!
We will provide you with ACCOMODATION and FOOD and you will be reimbursed with 250,00 € per working week.
You must be 18 years old or older and ENGLISH MUST BE YOUR FIRST LANGUAGE. You should have experience working with groups of children between 5 and 15 years old.

WHO CAN APPLY
New applicants MUST be at least 18 years old. We cannot accept applicants below this age. They must be attending (or have attended) an University course to become teachers (Primary teaching, Physical education or other courses in which education plays an important role). They should have experience working with groups of children between 5 and 15 years old, and experience in Summer Camps would be of an advantage. Work experience is the main characteristic we seek in a Tutor, so please, state your experience very clearly in your application form.

WHAT IS A PROJECT
The project must include two (2) lessons (ten in total) for each of the Camp activities that you are going to lead with the Italian (or Spanish) children during the Summer Camp: 2 for “Let’s Talk”, 2 for “Drama Workshop”, 2 for “Art and Craft”, 2 for “Sports” and 2 for “English Through Songs or Music”.
To prepare the project, please download HERE the Activity Chart and complete the sheet to describe each lesson (you must complete one sheet for each activity and lesson).
You can find examples of completed Activity Charts at the page Done at the Camp.
In each lesson, please specify:
- Which age group you have created the lesson for (depending on your preferences). You should develop the activities based on the children English comprehension skills, details of which you can find ad Done at the Camp!
- Which English words/sentences are taught and targeted
- What the educational purposes and aims are
- Which materials are used (flashcards, mime, action, videos, books…)
- What the children are asked to do
You can add any extra information you feel is relevant in order to complete the lesson.
A good project will enhance your chances of being hired quickly!
For tutors who hve already worked with us: you are not required to send us any new projects but, please, send us the updated application form as it is essential to the recruitment process. We will evaluate your new applications as soon as we receive them and confirm immediately whether your application has been successful or not.
